Contributions are sought on a range of topics around the topics of the conference. These might include, but are not restricted to: project feedbacks, experiences related to application of standards on emerging solutions, industrial challenges in relation with the existing regulation,… We will particularly welcome submissions from small and medium enterprises about their practical experiences.

Presentation can be proposed by submitting abstracts using the on-line form.

We plan to have 15 minute presentations at the conference followed by discussion.

We are pleased to announce that the invited speaker of MeTTeG 2014 will be Fabio Chiusi.
Born in 1980, a degree in Economy, another in Philosophy and a master in Philosophy of Science at the London School of Economics, Fabio Chiusi is a well renowned author about freedom of expression, Internet governance, digital citizenship, political and social impacts of technological advances. He has been author of three books (”Critica della democrazia digitale”,”Dittature dell’istantaneo. Black mirror e la nostra società iperconnessa”,”Nessun segreto. Guida minima a Wikileaks”), and currently he writes for Wired, l’Espresso, Corriere della Sera, il Fatto Quotidiano.

8th International Conference on Methodologies, Technologies and Tools enabling e-Government

September 25th-26th, 2014 - Udine, Italy

This year the conference will be hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Udine (Italy).

MeTTeG is the conference that brings together researchers, practitioners and other stakeholders from Public Administrations and Academia to exchange experiences and good practices, and to further enrich existing ideas about technology and tools to improve the performance and benefits of Smart Government. This year the conference will be hosted in Udine (Italy). We will be eager to consider your contributions to this event!
